The Mobile Memory Lab is coming to a branch near you! The Memory Lab, located within the Emerson History & Genealogy Center at the Clark Family Branch, has seen overwhelming interest in its digitization services. To meet this demand, we are excited to announce the launch of the Mobile Memory Lab! This innovative program brings the Memory Lab's valuable services directly to library branches, offering residents the opportunity to preserve their precious memories.

The Digital Archives contain hundreds of digitized records including Missouri yearbooks, St. Louis newspapers, St. Louis City and County directories, burial certificates, maps and atlases. There are a number of features within the digital archives that make it easy to discover specific items or to simply browse. We have a vast physical collection and work will continue to digitize materials and grow the Digital Archives.

We are home to almost 20,000 family history books! Our recent acquisitions include the following surnames: Abercrombie, Achenbach, Acheson, Allison, Ames, Applegate, Baskerville, Braford, Cochran, Dameron, Dewees, Dimock, Donaphin, Eckhardt, Esquer, Irvine, Kressin, Lato, Linossier, Mack, Marfell, Monagan, Root, Scalise, Steagall, Treptow, Werstler. Many family history books circulate and can be checked out or transferred through interlibrary loan.
