Construction Notice

The Clark Family Branch (formerly Headquarters) is closed for construction. Patrons can visit the Oak Bend Branch during construction.

St. Louis County Library and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide after school meals to children at 5 SLCL branches starting August 21, 2023. Participating branches will serve a healthy, light meal along with activities for kids and teens Monday–Friday during the school year. Meals must be eaten on-site and will be available free of charge for children ages 5-18.

The St. Louis County Library Foundation and the Novel Neighbor are pleased to host #1 bestselling suspense writer Karin Slaughter, author of “After That Night: A Will Trent Thriller.” The event will take place on Friday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Rd. Ellisville, MO 63011. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from The Novel Neighbor.

The St. Louis County Library’s Favorite Author Series presents local author Ed Wheatley for a discussion and signing of “St. Louis Cardinals: Everything You Need to Know!” The event will take place on Thursday, August  24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grant’s View Branch, located at 9700 Musick Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
