After School Meals

Operation Food Search provides a healthy grab and go light meal to children Monday-Friday at six branches. Stop by after school and enjoy a free meal along with activities for kids and teens, such as LEGOs, crafts and movies. Meals will be available free of charge for children ages 5-18. Learn more.

Coding 101

Kids ages 10-14 can learn basic coding skills and take home a free Chromebook as part of the Coding 101 program. The lottery for the next eight-week session opens December 10 and closes on December 30, 2018. Learn more.

Kindergarten Prep

Find out what you and your child need to know before starting kindergarten-attend a Kindergarten Prep workshop at SLCL! Kindergarten Prep focuses on the skills necessary for a successful first year in school, such as cooperation, socialization and listening. Families who participate in the workshop will receive a bag with school supplies and a free book. Learn more.

The St. Louis County Library is pleased to present a special onstage family conversation with father/son writing duo and inspirations for the hit film “Beautiful Boy.” David and Nic Sheff will discuss and sign their new book, “High; Everything You Want to Know About Drugs, Alcohol, and Addiction.” The event will take place at Library Headquarters (1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.) Saturday, January 12, 7:00 p.m.
