Public Record Databases are databases that contain information extracted from documents produced by government and other authorized agencies. Access to these databases can be gained by visiting FamilySearch or Ancestry.

The public record databases are split between periods, with Ancestry having 1950-1993 and 1994-2019. FamilySearch covers 1970-2009.

Accessing the Public Record Database on FamilySearch can be accomplished at home and can be done with no cost (free account required).
