Copies of St. Louis City marriage records through 1965 and St. Louis County marriage records through 1960 are available at FamilySearch (free account required).

Searching for St. Louis City/County Marriages 1806-1876 &
St. Louis City Marriages 1877-1965
Go to FamilySearch and sign in or create a free account
Select Search from the navigation bar and then choose Catalog from the options.
When the Search By dialog box opens, go to the Film/Fiche/Image Group Number (DGS) and enter corresponding group number in the text box then click on the Search button.

Enter 528147 in the text box
- St. Louis County Marriages 1877-1928
Enter 7515659 in the text box
- St. Louis County Marriages 1929-1959
Enter 5802203 in the text box
From the Subject, Search Terms results, select the corresponding collection.
For example, if you entered in 528147 in the Film/Fiche/Image Group Number (DGS) text box, you would select Marriage Records of St. Louis and St. Louis Co., 1806-1965. These records include the city and county through 1876, then St. Louis City from 1877-1965 after the split in 1876.
Below the details of the collection (authors, format, etc.,) locate your subject in the correct index or record set using the icons in the Format column:
