Novel Creations Pop-Up Market Series
The Novel Creations Pop-Up Market series is designed to equip entrepreneurial artisans, crafters, and makers with the vital business strategies and supportive community needed to transform their creative work into thriving enterprises. Participants will gain practical skills in branding, marketing, and online presence throughout this eight-week series designed to elevate their marketing savvy. The series culminates in a public pop-up market.
The series will take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. from September 2 through October 28, with a Pop-Up Market on Saturday, November 28. The weekly sessions will be at the Bridgeton Trails Branch, and the Pop-Up Market will take place indoors at the Clark Family Branch.
Participants will:
- Develop effective promotion and marketing techniques, from social media to compelling narratives, to connect with and cultivate a loyal customer base.
- Learn to define and communicate brand essence by clearly identifying the unique character of their craft and articulate it in a way that attracts their target customers.
- Gain hands-on experience enhancing their online presence with multimedia storytelling using impactful photography, engaging audio, and captivating video to showcase their products and appeal to online audiences.
- Connect with other small business owners and entrepreneurs, engage in group discussions, and receive mentorship from industry experts.
- Showcase products at a pop-up market.
Application Process
Applications accepted July 1-31, 2026. Applicants will be notified whether or not they are accepted for the program by mid-August.
A library card is not required to apply for Novel Creations, but it is required to access our small business databases.
Program Requirements
- 80% participation in the program to complete
- In-person attendance
- All products must be produced directly by you or your business
