- Library staff will ask you a few simple questions, prepare your items, and bring them to your car and place them in your trunk.
Bridgeton Trails was among the eight branches built after voters approved a special building tax in 1973. The branch serves Bridgeton, Maryland Heights, and the surrounding municipalities. In April 2011, the branch welcomed former First Lady Laura Bush to open a Teen Center named in her honor. Bridgeton Trails underwent extensive renovations in 2016. Updates included a colorful new children's area, the addition of private study rooms and a quiet reading room, a laptop bar, a business center with fax, copy and scanning machines, and a vending area. A revamped community meeting room with a projector, sound system and white board is available for use by individuals and organizations. New shelving, furniture and carpeting has been installed throughout the branch. The renovated branch reopened in June 2017.
