The Clark Family Branch (formerly Headquarters) is closed for construction. Please visit the Oak Bend Branch during construction.

Holiday Hours

All locations will be closed Sunday, December 24 and Monday, December 25 in observance of Christmas.
All locations will be closed Monday, January 1 in observance of New Year's Day.

Early Branch Closure

The Daniel Boone Branch will be closing at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9 for an author event with Jan Brett.

2024 Festival Survey

We are getting ready to start the planning process for the 45th Annual St. Louis Storytelling Festival and would love to hear from you on what interests you have as we begin planning. The interest survey below will only take a few minutes of your time.

St. Louis County Library will host the 44th annual St. Louis Storytelling Festival during October 18-28, 2023. The festival will feature a diverse lineup of nationally renowned storytellers at a variety of venues throughout the St. Louis region, as well as programs for all ages. All events are free and open to the public.
