Branch History

The Daniel Boone Branch opened in 1966. It is located just south of the intersection of Clarkson and Clayton Roads in West St. Louis County. The branch underwent extensive renovations in 2016, which included the addition 10,000 square feet to the building. Daniel Boone is the second branch to feature a Discovery Zone–an entire floor dedicated to children with engaging, educational activities. The renovated branch includes a revamped teen space, six private study rooms, a quiet reading room, and four community meeting rooms.
