Branch History

The Rock Road Branch was renovated and expanded in 2016. The dramatic transformation included a new entrance and the addition of 4,000 square feet to the building. The front features a glass façade that allows natural light to fill the branch. The building is on the same lot as the original Rock Road Branch, which the library converted from a movie theater into a library branch in 1957. The Rock Road Branch specializes in serving the area's growing Hispanic community.
