St. Louis County Library and The Novel Neighbor bookstore are thrilled to announce the second annual St. Louis area book festival celebrating teen readers!

The St. Louis Teen Book Festival will take place on Saturday, December 2, from 1:00-5:30 p.m. at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, 1201 S. Warson Road, St. Louis MO 63124. The event is free and open to all readers.

The festival will feature book talks, author signings, and meet-and-greet opportunities with 19 amazing young adult authors. The festival line-up includes a diverse group of fan-favorite, bestselling YA authors from all genres, as well as the hottest debut voices and local authors. Teachers and librarians are invited to attend an Educator’s Happy Hour with the authors on Friday, December 1 at 6:00 p.m. at The Novel Neighbor, 7905 Big Bend Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63119. Light refreshments and complimentary drinks will be provided.

KEYNOTE AUTHOR - Neal Shusterman: Bestselling author of over 30 science fiction and fantasy novels for young readers and winner of the National Book Award. Shusterman will discuss “Gleanings,”a new story collection inspired by his Arc of the Scythe series, and “Courage to Dream,” a graphic novel exploring the Holocaust. 

Alexandra Bracken: From the critically acclaimed author of “Lore,” Alexandra Bracken presents a stunning contemporary fantasy inspired by Celtic legends.
