St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Reading Garden Series for Young Audiences and the Novel Neighbor are pleased to present popular children’s book author and comic illustrator John Patrick Green, creator of the sensationally popular InvestiGators middle grade graphic novel series. Green will discuss and sign the latest in the InvestiGators series, “All Tide Up.”

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 6:30 p.m. at the Grant’s View Branch, 9700 Musick Road, St. Louis MO 63123.

The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from the Novel Neighbor.

John Patrick Green's goofy graphic novel series follows the super spy alligator duo, Mango and Brash, A.K.A the InvestiGators, as they travel through the sewers and fight the forces of evil. With their Very Exciting Spy Technology and their tried-and-true, toilet-based travel techniques, the InvestiGators are undercover and on the case!

In their seventh graphic novel adventure, “All Tide Up,” Mango and Brash are off on a high seas voyage that takes the hit series to uncharted waters!

When a cruise captain is found drifting at sea and delirious, the search begins for his missing ship and passengers! Did it sink? Was it boat-napped? Are supernatural forces at play? And can the InvestiGators unravel this maritime mystery before a second cruise befalls a similarly unfathomable fate? Seas the day and find out in this new nautical adventure!

John Patrick Green is a human with the human job of making books about animals with human jobs, notably the smash-hit graphic novel series InvestiGators. John is definitely a multiple New York Times-bestselling human author and not just a bunch of animals in a trench coat pretending to have a human job. With over a million copies of InvestiGators in print, John is a successful human being with only two hands and a normal amount of fur.

Program sites are accessible. With at least two weeks' notice, accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities. Call 314-994-3300 or contact us
