All SLCL branches are hosting a Tornado Emergency Response drive with Operation Food Search from June 23-July 31 to collect food items, personal care items and cleaning supplies.

St. Louis County Library has been named a 2025 Top Place to Work by the St. Louis Post­-Dispatch.

St. Louis County Library is expanding the popular ePopUp Library program to five area children’s healthcare facilities starting on June 20, 2025. ePopUp Library gives users immediate access to thousands of popular digital books and audiobooks by simply scanning a QR code. The new ePop children’s collection will be available at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Shriners Children’s St. Louis, SSMHealth Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Check out a Gateway to Reading Game for a fun, interactive way to build phonics-based reading skills. Games are geared towards children in PreK-3rd grade.

St. Louis County Library's epic Teen Battle of the Bands is back! Entries will be accepted online between June 1 – 29. The three bands with the most votes, plus two critics’ choices will compete at the Battle of the Bands on Friday, August 1 at Clark Family Branch. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners!

Calling all book lovers- the St. Louis County Library Foundation is hosting an online book auction called A Novel Auction, from June 16-22. A Novel Auction features expertly curated book bundles and signed books from popular authors who have visited SLCL. All proceeds benefit the St. Louis County Library Foundation.
