Give the gift of music by donating your new or used instruments to The Sheldon’s Instrument Drive! Donated instruments are evaluated and refurbished, then distributed through local schools and arts organizations to young musicians in need. Look for the donation box at your local SLCL branch.

Help design a new SLCL bookmobile! Local artist Dan Zettwoch will lead a series of programs for kids to provide input for the new bookmobile design. The artist will do live sketches and collect ideas from attendees.

Keep your mind active with a Memory Kit. Each kit contains books and interactive activities around a different topic, along with additional resources to help strengthen recall skills and brain health.

SLCL and the Kranzberg Arts Foundation invite you to dive into the heart of American music by enjoying live, unplugged performances at the Florissant Valley Branch. Music Mondays Unplugged is a new program series that will connect the past and present of St. Louis' deep musical roots. 

Adult Summer Reading Club starts June 1 and runs through August 10, 2024. Sign up and receive a free book when you register. The program offers great prizes!

SLCL and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide lunches to children this summer at select SLCL locations through August 16, 2024. Nine SLCL branches offer a nutritious lunch along with activities for kids ages 18 and under from 12:00–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Pizza will be provided on Fridays, sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation.
