Books are Magical Wins Bookmobile Voting Contest

During National Library Week, April 6-12, SLCL invited patrons to vote on their favorite design for a new bookmobile sponsored by the James S. McDonnell Family Foundation. Voting took place on the SLCL Instagram account and via paper ballots available at all 20 SLCL branches and on the bookmobiles. Over 5,500 people voted! The winning design, by a small margin, is Books are Magical. The Books are Magical bookmobile will be produced later this year. It is the fourth new bookmobile to join the SLCL fleet.

Tap In Center at St. Louis County Library

St. Louis County Library partners with several justice-involved organizations to provide a Tap In Center to help individuals recall bench warrants and connect with local support services. The Tap In Center is open every Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Florissant Valley Branch.

Vote for a bookmobile design

St. Louisans will have a unique opportunity to help select the new St. Louis County Library bookmobile design during National Library Week, April 6-12. The bookmobile, sponsored by the James S. McDonnell Family Foundation, is the fourth new bookmobile to join the SLCL fleet this year. Voting on the new bookmobile design will take place on the SLCL Instagram account (@stlouiscountylibrary) or you can pick up a paper ballot at your local branch. The bookmobile design with the most votes will roll out later this year!
