Adult Summer Reading Club starts June 1 and runs through August 10, 2024. Sign up and receive a free book when you register. The program offers great prizes!

SLCL and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide lunches to children this summer at select SLCL locations through August 16, 2024. Nine SLCL branches offer a nutritious lunch along with activities for kids ages 18 and under from 12:00–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Pizza will be provided on Fridays, sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation.

We are celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month with special programming throughout June. Events include rainbow story time, film and book discussions, dance parties, pride-themed craft programs and more.

Calling all aspiring artists and designers! SLCL is seeking creative designs from kids and teens for our Design a Bookmark Contest. Entries will be accepted June 1-July 5, 2024.

Join us for a free concert on June 24 with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra featuring Cally Banham, oboe and English horn, and a woodwind quintet to help celebrate the opening of the new Clark Family Branch. Seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is requested.

St. Louis County Library and St. Louis Public Library are teaming up to offer a joint summer reading and exploration program called STL Summer Adventure. This brand new program invites youth ages 0-17 to go on an adventure with a variety of activities in STEM, Art, Outdoors, St. Louis and Reading. The program will run from June 1-August 10, 2024.
