Interested in telling a funny anecdote, a life-changing moment, or a fictional adventure? This is your chance to shine. Whether you're a seasoned storyteller or someone telling a story for the first time, fill out an application by July 31, 2025 for an opportunity to tell your story on stage during the St. Louis Storytelling Festival on November 15 at the Clark Family Branch.

We are celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month with special programming throughout June. Events include rainbow story time, film and book discussions, dance parties, pride-themed craft programs and more.

STL Summer Adventure invites kids and teens to go exploring with a variety of fun activities from June 1-August 10. Everyone who signs up gets a free book. Complete 10 activities to earn a prize. Fun events will be offered throughout the summer featuring music, comedy, puppet performances, magic, science experiments and more.

SLCL and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide lunches to children this summer at select SLCL locations from June 2-August 15, 2025. Six SLCL branches will offer a nutritious lunch along with activities for kids ages 18 and under from 12:00–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Pizza will be provided on Fridays, sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation.

Calling all aspiring artists and designers! SLCL is seeking creative designs from kids and teens for our Design a Bookmark Contest. Entries will be accepted June 1-July 5, 2025.

Adult Summer Reading Club starts June 1 and runs through August 10, 2025. Sign up and receive a free book when you register. The program offers great prizes!
