St. Louis County Library (SLCL) is hosting a free conference for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and nonprofit leaders. The Small Business & Nonprofit Conference will take place October 8-10, 2025. The conference offers three days of in-person and virtual networking and education on a variety of business-critical skills and strategies. Sessions will take place at the Clark Family Branch (1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.) and virtually via Zoom. The conference is free, but registration is recommended for in-person sessions and required for virtual sessions. St. Louis County Library will host the annual Little Readers Festival on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Florissant Valley Branch (195 New Florissant Rd. S.) The event will feature activities, shaved ice, free books, performances by Ms. Libby, story time with the Pigeon, visits from mascots Fredbird and Louie, and more. The Festival is recommended for families with children ages 0-5. Overflow parking available at Bangert Park (275 S. New Florissant Rd).
