St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host acclaimed young adult author Ibi Zoboi for a discussion and signing of her latest novel, “(S)Kin.” The event will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. SLCL Presents InvestiGators Graphic Novel Author John Patrick Green
St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Reading Garden Series for Young Audiences and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host popular graphic novel author and artist John Patrick Green, creator of the hit InvestGATORs Series. St. Louis County Library Launches New Literacy Initiative–Gateway to Reading
St. Louis County Library is launching a new initiative in 2025 called Gateway to Reading, aimed at improving literacy in the St. Louis region. Using a research based approach, the Gateway to Reading program will provide a series of literacy workshops for caregivers and children, along with kits that can be checked out to work on reading skills at home. The Gateway to Reading workshops began in January, and will continue throughout the year. The kits will begin circulating in February. New Great Southern Bookmobile Unveiling Held at Parker Road Elementary
St. Louis County Library and Great Southern Bank will unveil a new bookmobile on Monday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Road Elementary in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, located at 2800 Parker Rd, Florissant, MO 63033. To celebrate the new bookmobile, representatives from Great Southern and SLCL will hold an assembly at Parker Road Elementary, with an appearance by the children’s book character Curious George, followed by an opportunity for students to explore the new bookmobile.
