Request for Proposal
Branch Wi-Fi Internet Services

Amendment #1 - Issue Date: January 25, 2024

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting Proposals (“Proposal” or “Proposals”) pursuant to this Request for Proposal from qualified businesses for: Branch Wi-Fi Internet Services, at the St. Louis County Library District branch locations and the Lynn Beckwith, Jr. Administrative Building identified in Exhibit A (the “Project”). Proposers are responsible for examination of all documents, specifications, and instructions for this Project. 

All Proposals are due no later than 1:00 P.M. C.T., on February 9, 2024. 

Please email the completed Proposal in accordance with this Request for Proposal to Gib Van Cleve, Assistant Director, ITS via email at gvancleve@slcl.org.   

To protect the integrity of the Proposal selection process, any questions concerning this Request for Proposal, the Proposal process or Proposal specifications shall be submitted per the directions in Section 6 under the “Proposal Requirements” listed in this document.   

A proposer shall complete the Proposal as required in this Request for Proposal and email the completed Proposal to Gib Van Cleve, Assistant Director, ITS via email at gvancleve@slcl.org with the subject heading “Branch Wi-Fi Internet Services RFP 2024.”

Fiber Internet Services

To protect the integrity of the Proposal selection process, any questions concerning this Request for Proposal, the Proposal process or Proposal specifications shall be submitted per the directions in Section 6 under the “Proposal Requirements” listed in this document.

Invitation To Bid
Lawn & Landscape Maintenance

Addendum #1 - Issue Date: February 2, 2024

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting Bids pursuant to this Invitation to Bid from qualified businesses for a 3-year contract for Lawn and Landscaping Maintenance (the “Project”) for the calendar years 2024, 2025, and 2026 (the “Project”) at all locations of the Library District including the following: Bridgeton Trails, Clark Family, Cliff Cave, Daniel Boone, Eureka Hills, Florissant Valley, Grand Glaize, Grant’s View, Jamestown Bluffs, Lewis & Clark, Meramec Valley, Mid-County, Natural Bridge, Oak Bend, Parkview, Prairie Commons, Rock Road, Samuel Sachs (both the branch and the Jai Nagarkatti Monsanto Company Reading Garden), Thornhill, Weber Road, and the Lynn Beckwith Jr. Administration Building (each a “Library District Location” and collectively the “Library District Locations”).

Please visit each Library District Location to take measurements and review field conditions. Bidders are responsible for examination of all locations, specifications, schedules, and instructions for the Project. Addresses of the various branches may be found on the Library’s website at: https://www.slcl.org/branches.

All Bids are due no later than 1:30pm C.T., on February 9, 2024.

Please deliver the completed Bid in accordance with this Invitation to Bid to the Library District’s Headquarters at 1412 S. Spoede Road, St. Louis Missouri, 63131, Attention: Steve Hunter.

To preserve the integrity of the selection process, questions regarding this Invitation to Bid should be emailed only to shunter@slcl.org and jmanwarring@slcl.org. The deadline for Questions is 3:00pm C.T. January 31, 2024. Questions will be answered in an addendum posted on the Library’s website (http://www.slcl.org/bid-opportunities).

It is anticipated that the Bids will be considered by the Library District’s Board of Trustees at their regular February 20, 2024 meeting after deliberation by the Selection Committee and recommendation to the Director & CEO.

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting bids (“Bid” or “Bids”) pursuant to this Invitation for Bid from qualified businesses for Custodial Services (the “Project”) at nineteen locations of the Library District including the following: Bridgeton Trails, Clark Family, Cliff Cave, Daniel Boone, Eureka Hills, Florissant Valley, Grand Glaize, Grant’s View, Jamestown Bluffs, Lewis & Clark, Meramec Valley, Mid-County, Natural Bridge, Oak Bend, Parkview, Prairie Commons, Rock Road, Samuel Sachs, and Thornhill (each a “Library District Location” and collectively the “Library District Locations”).

A bidder shall complete the Bid as required in this Invitation for Bid and deliver the completed Bid in a sealed envelope marked “Invitation for Bid: Custodial Services”. Bidders must bid on all listed Library District Locations for the Project.

It is anticipated that the Bids will be considered by the Library District’s Board of Trustees at their February 20, 2024 meeting after consideration by the Selection Committee and recommendation to the Director.

Panic/Crisis Alert System

Addendum #1 - Issue Date: February 7, 2024

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting Proposals (“Proposal” or “Proposals”) pursuant to this Request for Proposal from qualified businesses for Panic/Crisis Alert System (the “Project”). 

All Proposals are due no later than Monday 1:00 P.M. C.T., February 20, 2024. 

Please deliver the completed Proposal in accordance with this Request for Proposal to the Library District’s Lynn Beckwith Jr Administrative Building at 1412 S. Spoede Road, St. Louis, Missouri, 63131, Attention: Dan Lucas, Manager Safety & Security. 

To protect the integrity of the Proposal selection process, any questions concerning the Invitation for this Proposal, the Proposal process or Proposal specifications shall be emailed only to Dlucas@SLCL.org in accordance with this Proposal invitation.

A proposer shall complete the Proposal as required in this Request for Proposal and deliver the completed Proposal in a sealed envelope marked “Panic/Crisis Alert System RFP” Attn: Dan Lucas.

It is anticipated that the Proposal will be considered by the Library District’s Board of Trustees at the April 15, 2024, meeting after consideration by the selection committee and recommendation to the Director & CEO.
