The following are current IFB, RFP, or RFQ proposals. The Library District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids/Proposals and to waive formalities in the best interest of the Library District.


Request for Proposals

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District together with the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Public Library District (“Library Districts”) are jointly accepting proposals (“Proposal” or “Proposals”) pursuant to this Request for Proposals from qualified proposers for a shared Integrated Library System (ILS) and a shared catalog that will allow patrons of both libraries to find and request material from any of the 20 St. Louis County Library branches and 16 St. Louis Public Library branches (the “Project”).

All Bids are due no later than 2:00 P.M. C.T., on July 1, 2021.

Proposers shall deliver the completed Proposal in accordance with the Proposal Requirements of this Request for Proposals. A proposer shall complete the Proposal as required in this Request for Proposals and deliver the completed Proposal in a sealed envelope marked “Shared Integrated Library System.”

To protect the integrity of the Proposal selection process, any questions concerning this Request for Proposals, the Proposal process or Proposal specifications shall be emailed only to Eric Button ebutton@slcl.org and Daisy Porter‐Reynolds dporter@slpl.org in accordance with this Request for Proposals.

It is anticipated that the Proposals will be considered by each Library Districts’ Board at a future meeting after adequate time and consideration by the Selection Committee and recommendation to the Library Directors.

The Library Districts reserve the right to reject any and all Proposals and to waive formalities in the best interest of the Library Districts.


Request for Proposals
Shelving Canopies Replacement (PDF, 5.09 MB)

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting proposals pursuant to this Request for Proposal from qualified businesses for Replacing Shelving Top Canopies and End Panels (the “Project”) at three locations of the Library District including the following: Cliff Cave, Natural Bridge, and Prairie Commons (each a “Library District Location” and collectively the “Library District Locations”).

Please visit each Library District Location to take measurements and review field conditions. Proposers are responsible for examination of all locations, specifications, schedules and instructions for the Project. Addresses of the various branches may be found on the Library’s website at: https://www.slcl.org/branches.

All Proposals are due no later than 1:00 P.M. C.T., on July 8, 2021.

Please deliver the completed Proposal in accordance with this Request for Proposal to the Library District’s Headquarters at 1640 S Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis Missouri, 63131, Attention: Steve Hunter.

To protect the integrity of the selection process, any questions concerning this Request for Proposal, the process or specifications shall be e-mailed only to shunter@slcl.org and kreeves@slcl.org in accordance with this Request for Proposal.

A proposer shall complete the Proposal as required in this Request for Proposal and deliver the completed Proposal in a sealed envelope marked “Request for Proposal: Shelving Canopies Replacement”. Proposal must include all Library District Locations for the Project.

It is anticipated that the Proposals will be considered by the Library District’s Board of Trustees at their July 19, 2021 meeting after consideration by the Selection Committee and recommendation to the Director.
