AARP Tax-Aide

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers prepare free tax returns for individuals with low to moderate income, with an emphasis on seniors. Appointments are required. Call Customer Connect at 314-994-3300 beginning January 14, 2019 to make an appointment.Adults.

HiSET Classes

Prepare to take the HiSET, the new High School Equivalency Test. Interested students first must attend four days of orientation. Please see library staff for orientation dates. For more information, call 314-367-5000.

Bring Your Own: iPad & iPhone Basics III

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Explore common apps and settings including Calendar, Contacts, Maps and Location Services. Devices will not be provided. Registration required.

Prerequisites: iPad & iPhone Basics II or equivalent experience. All classes are free. After five minutes, unclaimed seats will become available to students on the waiting list.

Google Docs

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Use Google Docs to create, edit and format documents. Printing and saving in the Internet cloud, using Google Drive will also be covered. Creative Writing Workshop

An 8 week workshop where writers and aspiring writers examine basic principles of good writing and share and critique personal work. Essays, short stories, memoirs, novel chapters--all are welcome. Adults. Registration required.
