St. Louis Storytelling Festival
St. Louis County Library will host the 45th annual St. Louis Storytelling Festival from November 13-23, 2024. The festival will include performances by eight nationally renowned storytellers, along with a variety of other programs and presenters. This year’s line-up will include bilingual performances, indigenous storytelling, folklore, writing workshops and more.

SLCL Presents Al Roker - TODAY Show Co-Host and Bestselling Author
St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host a special event with bestselling author and TODAY Show co-host Al Roker. Roker will discuss and sign his cookbook, “Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By: Easy, Memory-Making Family Dishes for Every Occasion." Eye Exams & Glasses for Kids
Eye Thrive will offer free eye exams and glasses at the Lewis & Clark Branch on November 13. Any child age 4-18 is eligible for an eye exam and glasses. Capacity is limited. Exams begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Historian Steven Watts Discusses a New Biography of Will Rogers
St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and Left Bank Books are pleased to host Steven Watts, University of Missouri Professor Emeritus in American History, for a discussion and signing of “Citizen Cowboy: Will Rogers and the American People.” The event will take place on Monday, November 18, 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131. Books will be available for purchase and signing from Left Bank Books.
