Diaper Distribution
St. Louis County Library is partnering with the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank to provide families in need with a supply of diapers and training pants for children ages 4 and under each month at select library branches.

Gun Locks
Gun Locks from Be SMART StL and the Lock It for Love program of Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice are available upon request at all 20 SLCL branches. The locks are free of charge and come with information about safe firearm storage.

Safe Storage Kits for medications are available at all branches and from the Sweet Reads bookmobile. These items are made possible through a partnership with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health and the Alliance for Healthy Communities.

Social workers are available at six branches to provide free one-on-one advising and assistance to connect patrons with vital resources and referrals to service providers in the community. Assistance on a wide range of topics is available including: childcare, housing insecurity, food insecurity, medical assistance, domestic violence, mental health, parenting resources, senior resources, and substance abuse
