Operation Food Search will provide after school meals at four branches: Lewis & Clark, Natural Bridge, Prairie Commons, and Weber Road.

Use your library card to check out a blood pressure kit to monitor your blood pressure. Kits provided in partnership with the American Heart Association.

The Born to Read program invites families with newborns to start their child’s path to reading.

St. Louis County Library is partnering with the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank to provide families in need with a supply of diapers and training pants for children ages 4 and under each month at select library branches.

Gun Locks from Be SMART StL and the Lock It for Love program of Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice are available upon request at all 20 SLCL branches. The locks are free of charge and come with information about safe firearm storage.

MetroMarket from Operation Food Search will visit two branches year round with fresh, affordable produce, along with recipe ideas and meal planning assistance.

Free Narcan kits are available at all 20 library locations. The kits are provided through a partnership with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health.

Period supply kits from the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank are available at select branches. Each free kits contain 25 period supplies.

Safe Storage Kits for medications are available at all branches and from the Sweet Reads bookmobile. These items are made possible through a partnership with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health and the Alliance for Healthy Communities.

Social workers are available at six branches to provide free one-on-one advising and assistance to connect patrons with vital resources and referrals to service providers in the community. Assistance on a wide range of topics is available including: childcare, housing insecurity, food insecurity, medical assistance, domestic violence, mental health, parenting resources, senior resources, and substance abuse

St. Louis County Library is partnering with several justice involved organizations to provide a Tap In Center for individuals to get legal assistance and connect with local support services.
