SLCL is teaming up with the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank to offer Potty Training 101 programs at several branches! Attendees will receive a potty seat, stepping stool, sticker chart, training pants and potty-themed board book. The event is free, but registration is required.

SLCL Authors @ the J and the Novel Neighbor Present Acclaimed Novelist Paulette Jiles
The St. Louis County Foundation, theJCC of St. Louis and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host an SLCL Authors @ the J event with Award-winning novelist Paulette Jiles, author of “Chenneville.” The event will take place on Thursday September 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the JCC’s Staenberg Family Center – Mirowitz Performing Arts Center, 2 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from The Novel Neighbor.

SLCL Hosts Potty Training Workshops with St. Louis Area Diaper Bank
St. Louis County Library will offer a series of potty training programs for parents with young children starting in September and running through April 2024. The program is a partnership between SLCL and the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank.

eRecycling Drive
SLCL is teaming up with PCs for People to host eRecycling Drives at select library branches this fall. Both functioning and non-functioning tech-related electronics will be accepted. Devices will be securely data-wiped and then either refurbished or recycled.

SLCL and the Novel Neighbor Present Award-Winning Middle Grade Author Amina Luqman- Dawson
The St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Reading Garden Series for Young Audiences and the Novel Neighbor are pleased to host award-winning middle grade author Amina Luqman-Dawson for a discussion of her historical novel “Freewater.” The event will take place on Tuesday, September 12 at 6:30p.m. at the Florissant Valley Branch, 195 New Florissant Rd.
